- Pest Control
Generally pest infestation control such as ants, mice, rats cockroaches, flies, silverfish, earwigs is the responsibility of the tenants and the owner is not obliged to pay for treatment. The owner has to ensure the property is in good and clean condition free of pest infestation at commencement of the tenancy agreement. It is the tenant’s responsibility to maintain the good and clean condition.
It is recommended that the tenant purchase treatments such a baits from the local supermarket or hardware and place strategically around the property to prevent infestation.
